  1. I realized that samples cannot have the same name even if they are in different colours. Never mind thanks!
  2. Hi! I am trying to make a Piper Diagram with 26 samples, but when I plot it and open up "Configure Plot", I try to select all the samples under the "Available" column to plot all of them but it's only plotting 16 of them. I am wondering if there is a maximum number of samples you can plot? Or how can I change the settings so that I can plot all 26? Also, when I try to select only the samples that won't plot, the program jumps to another sample and won't plot them at all (See attached screen shot). Thanks! Kelly
  3. Hi Katelyn, Thank you so much, that really clears things up! I launched SpecE8 before but didn't really know what to look for. It all makes sense now!
  4. To whom it may concern, This may be a really basic question, but I was wondering how GSS calculates the water type for a sample? In a previous post, it mentions that the water type is based off of the most abundant ions in the sample after speciation. I am just a little confused because I have a sample where the calcium exceeds the sodium (in meq/L) but the sample classifies as Na-SO4 type. I was wondering if I could get some clarification on this? I have attached a GSS spreadsheet with some of the data. Thanks! Kelly GSS_example.gss
