About X1t and X2t time level problem

Recommended Posts

Our client has a problem about X1t and X2t time level.

How to change the step number?

It always run 50 steps for X1t and 10 steps for X2t, see the attached files.

Please help us.

Thanks a lot.

Hi John,

You can adjust the number of steps reported in X1t and X2t simulations by using the dxplot command. The "dxplot" command sets the interval in reaction progress (which varies from zero to one in a simulation) between steps in the plot file. In X2t, "dxplot" defaults to a value of 0.1, so you have plot output at Xi = 0 (the start), 0.1 (one tenth of the way through the simulation), 0.2, 0.3, ... 1. Changing "dxplot" to 0.05, for example, would approximately double the number of steps reported in the plot file (0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, ... 1). For more information, please see 7.30 "dxplot" in the GWB Reference Manual.

Hope this helps,

Brian Farrell
