GWB 8.0.9 patch released

Dear GWB Users:

 

We have released GWB 8.0.9, which addresses the following issues:

 

  • Fix error setting anisotropic dispersivities in X2t
  • Correct problem scrolling past hidden rows to the edge of data sheets in GSS
  • Fix several minor glitches in the GUI
  • Resolve all known issues with 8.0 through 8.0.8

 

All current GWB Essentials, Standard and Pro version 8 users can download the GWB 8.0.9 patch here.

I have the GWB 8.0 version and am running the Microsoft Windows XP Professional OS. After using the installation cd and making sure the dongle is in, I am unable to open any of the GWB applications. I tried downloading the 8.0.9 patch, but it didn't seem to help. When I try to open the applications an error message appears that says it cannot open the program. The error signature is:

 

AppName: act2.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: act2.exe

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0005f111

 

I have tried installing it on another computer in the office, and it works fine. That computer is using Windows 7 OS.
