[OLD] Bad Pivot Error

Subject: Bad pivot error

I am attempting to simulate the reaction between hydrothermal brine and various rock types. The model proceeds in two stages:

1) Equilibrate 1.2 kg of brine with 25 kg of rock.

2) Pickup the products of above and flush through 1200 kg of brine.

This approach has worked for several rocktypes, but not the carbonaceous shale. The latter generates the error *Bad Pivot* at the pickup stage and tells me that Ca++ needs to be defined even though it is defined at both stages of input. Can anyone help with this problem?
