4. How to get instant notification when someone responds to your post

If you post a new topic, or post a message in a thread that another user has created, you may want to receive email notification whenever someone else responds with a post. To receive notification, find the My Controls link towards the upper right of your screen:

 

 

On the left side of the menu, under Options, choose Email Settings:

 

 

Under Board Preferences, check the Enable 'Email Notification' by Default? checkbox, and select Immediate Email Notification from the drop-down box:

 

 

Click on the Amend my email settings button:

 

 

You are now set to receive email notification when someone else replies to your topic.
