garcharova
I am trying to look at mineral saturation with increasing temperature, and would like to plot temperature on the x-axis vs logQ/K (mineral saturation) on the y-axis. I am able to construct a plot with Q/K but not logQ/K. Is there a way to get logQ/K on the y-axis?
Brian Farrell
Hello, Currently it looks like Gtplot and Xtplot are only set up to plot Q/K (on linear or log axes). We will look into this for future releases. Regards, Brian Farrell Aqueous Solutions LLC
shensel
Hello, I'm wondering if log(Q/K) was ever added as an option? Thanks, Scott Hensel
Brian Farrell
Hi Scott, The plotting apps still display Q/K itself, with the option to use a linear or log scale. In other words, the spacing of data points is affected, not the values themselves). You can readily copy numerical values from Gtplot to Excel, however, then transform the values to their logs and make the plot you want in Excel. To export the numerical values from Gtplot, simply choose your desired variables (e.g. Temperature on x axis and Mineral saturation on y axis), then go to Edit > Copy As > Spreadsheet, then paste into Excel. Hope this helps, Brian Farrell Aqueous Solutions
shensel
Thanks Brian, that workaround will do just fine.
