Water Type Question

Hello

 

GSS classified a groundwater sample that I input as "Ca-HS" (calcium sulfide).  Could anyone please point me to a reference that provides the definition (i.e., ion percent boundaries) for this water type?

Hello Jon,

The GWB apps will report the water type based on the highest electrical equivalents of cation and anion species of a sample after calculating speciation.
